Ukraine-Canada Trade
According to Statistics Canada the year 2005 has become the most successful year for the bilateral trade between Ukraine and Canada with trade volumes having exceeded CAD 300 million. Volumes of imports of Canadian goods into Ukraine rose to 82 million in 2005 versus 57 million in 2005. Ukrainian exports to Canada increased almost than twice to 296 million.
The major contributor to Ukrainian exports growth was the crude petroleum oil with over the half of Ukrainian exports to Canada in 2005. The ferrous metallurgy and equipment also became significant contributors to the exports growth in 2005.
