Roman Opimakh, Director General of the State Geologic and Subsoil Survey of Ukraine, Kyiv, Ukraine.

Roman Opimakh manages the National Upstream Regulator, an agency that supervises the development of mineral resources, issuing all types of exploration and production licenses in the country.

Roman Opimakh has over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to current position, Roman ran the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine, was the advisor to the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, worked at the Economic Reforms Center mandated by the President of Ukraine.

Roman graduated from Institute of International Relations of T.Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a Master’s degree. Later, he accomplished H.Humphrey Fellowship Program at Michigan State University and completed his professional affiliation with the Center for Energy Studies at the Louisiana State University.

Taras Yeleyko, Deputy Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU), Kyiv, Ukraine.

Mr. Yeleyko was the Head of the Consolidated Asset Management Department at the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine, selling assets of insolvent banks via #Prozorro system and coordinating cooperation with international donor and financial institutions (World Bank, EBRD, US Treasury). Held the position of Director of the Investment Department at OTP Capital and Chairman of the Board of NPF OTP Pension. Mr. Yeleyko has PhD in Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

Sergiy Tsivkach, Executive Director, UkraineInvest, Kyiv, Ukraine.

Mr. Tsivkach held positions of Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, the First President of Ukraine, members of Parliament of Ukraine. Has worked as Chair of the Board of C.A.S.E.S. International (organization that cooperates with Ukrainian state and business institutions, UN, World Bank, OECD, US FTC, etc.). Mr. Tsivkach is a Ukrainian and UK qualified commercial lawyer.

Emma  Turos, Managing Director, Ukraine, Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (CUCC),

Kyiv, Ukraine. Co-Moderator.

Emma runs CUCC operations in Ukraine since 2009, working with over 230 members both in Canada and Ukraine. For 16 years was Deputy General Director of Ukraine Representative Office of Northland Power Inc. (Canada), and in 2016-21 was the Project Manager of the Canada Ukraine Trade and Investment Support Project (CUTIS) funded by the Government of Canada.
