Igor Liski is a Chairman of the Board of EFI Group. Starting his career in the field of metal trade in early 2000, he expanded his business interests into coal production, processing and trade, cardboard and paper production, machine building, agriculture, construction, and development. Igor Liski consolidated assets in all fields by founding the EFI Group, the main objective of which is the development of existing assets, as well as fundraising for other promising business projects.
In 2009, Igor Liski was one of the first to raise Canadian investment for coal mining projects in
the East of Ukraine. The East Coal Company, which is listed on Toronto and London Stock
Exchanges became one of the largest private investors in the Ukrainian mining field. Having a major interest in the energy sector Igor founded Ukraine Energy Company, which was the first Ukrainian firm to import European gas for the largest industrial enterprises.
In 2014, Igor with a group of investors based on the biggest honey production plant in the country. Beehive company became the first Ukrainian honey jar brand exported to EU, USA, Canada and Japan.
Looking forward to developing a democratic society in Ukraine Igor Liski become one of the founders
of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future (UIF) in 2016. It is an independent think-tank, which
forecasts changes and designs possible scenarios in Ukraine. UIF is a project of the business, public
and political sectors of the country. Ukrainian authorities use UIF`s expert analysis of the developments in Ukrainian foreign and domestic policies and take specific recommendations for policy action.
Being a man of active research and development skills, Igor started a new healthcare direction in his holding. EFI Group completed the purchase of IT company DOC.UA in 2019. Today DOC.UA is the biggest medical online hub in Ukraine. The service solves the problem of choosing the right specialist and quick appointment. In 2019 he becomes co-investor of Promprylad.Renovation, the unique social innovation project.
Igor has obtained two higher education degrees in International Economics at the Volodymyr Dal East Ukrainian National University of Luhansk and Master’s Degree in Law at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Igor Liski completed the Executive MBA program at Said Business School, University of Oxford.
