Девід очолював Independent Accountability Mechanism при ЄБРР та Standards and Collaborative Governance в міжнародному центрі AccountAbility. Входив до експертної групи з розробки сертифікатів ISO 26000 (добровільна настанова з соціальної відповідальності) та ISO 37001 (протидія хабарництву).

Девід читає лекції в таких провідних навчальних закладах як University of Toronto, McMaster University, York University, Oxford’s Saïd Business School, University of Cambridge, United Nations University Tokyo.

David Simpson is an experienced consultant specializing in corporate responsibility, stakeholder engagement, sustainability and social impact measurement & evaluation. He has served as the independent social auditor for a number of organizations in the banking, insurance, consumer products, investment, and mining sectors.

During the webinar participants will learn:

  • How environmental, social and economic factors are increasingly changing the value drivers and strategic position of companies for tomorrow’s success

Background information

David Simpson is the former head of the Independent Accountability Mechanism at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the former Director of Standards and Collaborative Governance at the international non-profit think-tank AccountAbility, and a former Executive Director of the Centre for Ethics and Corporate Policy.

David was also an expert member of the International Working Group that published the ISO 26000 Guidance Standard on Social Responsibility and ISO 37001 on anti-bribery.  He is an accredited social Impact auditor and advisor for the London Social Stock Exchange.

He has led seminars on sustainability at the United Nations University in Tokyo and lectured at the University of Toronto, McMaster University, York University as well as at Oxford’s Saïd Business School and the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership.
