On March 25, the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (CUCC), in partnership with the Embassy of Canada to Ukraine & Friends, hosted a landmark event — the “CUCC Get Together” — at the Toronto-Kyiv Complex in Kyiv.

The gathering brought together key stakeholders from government, business, and the broader Canada–Ukraine community to reaffirm the strength of the bilateral partnership and to outline a shared vision for the future. The event served as a platform for meaningful dialogue on CUCC’s ongoing engagements, Canada’s continued and impactful support for Ukraine, and practical tools such as the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA), which are enabling tangible opportunities for businesses in both countries.

Participants engaged in discussions on advancing economic cooperation, identifying new avenues for collaboration, and shaping concrete next steps for joint initiatives and projects.

In collaboration with the Embassy of Canada to Ukraine, CUCC also reflected on key joint achievements, including the Rebuild Ukraine Business Conference, held annually in Toronto since 2022. The conference has established itself as one of the leading platforms in Canada and North America dedicated to Ukraine’s recovery, reconstruction, and long-term economic development.

The event featured distinguished speakers, including:

  • Jocelyn Kinnear, Director General of the Ukraine Task Force, Global Affairs Canada

  • H.E. Natalka Cmoc, Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine

  • Ada Luz Rodriguez, Senior Trade Commissioner, Embassy of Canada to Ukraine

  • Yuriy Kryvosheya, Vice President & Board Member, Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce

CUCC extends its sincere appreciation to all speakers for their valuable insights and continued commitment to strengthening Canada–Ukraine relations.

As highlighted by Yuriy Kryvosheya, Vice President of CUCC:
“Together we have achieved a lot, but we can do so much more. Through our joint efforts, we already have numerous instruments to make this happen.”

CUCC expresses its deep gratitude to the Embassy of Canada to Ukraine for its strong partnership and ongoing support. The Chamber also thanks all participants who contributed to the success of the evening and helped foster a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.

We invite organizations and individuals to join the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and become part of a dynamic network driving impactful initiatives across Ukraine and Canada.
