Toronto, ON — The Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (CUCC) is pleased to share a recent interview with CUCC President Zenon Potichny, conducted by journalist Maksym Nalyvaiko for Ukrinform, Ukraine’s national news agency.

In the wide-ranging discussion, Mr. Potichny highlighted the strength and resilience of the Canada–Ukraine partnership, emphasizing Canada’s steadfast political, financial, and humanitarian support for Ukraine since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. He underscored the critical importance of translating this strong political alignment into increased private sector engagement and long-term investment.

The interview explores CUCC’s role in advancing bilateral trade and investment, supporting Canadian companies seeking opportunities in Ukraine, and helping Ukrainian businesses expand into the Canadian market. Mr. Potichny also addressed the significance of modernized trade frameworks, strategic sectors for cooperation, and the need for coordinated efforts among governments, financial institutions, and the private sector to ensure Ukraine’s successful recovery and modernization.

As Ukraine continues to defend its sovereignty while preparing for large-scale reconstruction, CUCC remains focused on fostering meaningful business partnerships that contribute to sustainable economic growth and resilience.

For over three decades, CUCC has served as a bridge between Canadian and Ukrainian enterprises, promoting trade, investment, and innovation. The Chamber continues to work closely with stakeholders in both countries to mobilize expertise, capital, and leadership in support of Ukraine’s future.
