From November 14–16, 2025, the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (CUCC) proudly participated in the XXVIII Triennial Congress of Ukrainian Canadians—the largest national gathering of the Ukrainian-Canadian community—held this year in Toronto. CUCC Vice President Mark Vytvytskyy represented the organization at this milestone event, bringing the voice of Canadian business engagement in Ukraine’s recovery to a national audience.

CUCC at the Plenary Panel: Rebuilding Ukraine

On November 14th, Mark Vytvytskyy joined distinguished leaders Andriy Shevchenko, Head of Mission at the Ukrainian World Congress, and Andrew Maleckyj, Chair of the Board of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation, for the plenary session Rebuilding Ukraine.

During the discussion, Mark outlined the vital role of the Canadian private sector and diaspora institutions in supporting Ukraine’s resilience and long-term recovery. He highlighted CUCC’s flagship initiatives that are strengthening Canada–Ukraine economic cooperation, including:

  • The Rebuild Ukraine Business Conference, taking place on December 2, 2025, in Toronto — CUCC’s premier international platform for mobilizing investment, showcasing reconstruction priorities, and fostering partnerships between Canadian, Ukrainian, European, and global stakeholders. The conference brings together senior government officials, international financial institutions, business leaders, and innovators dedicated to rebuilding and modernizing Ukraine.

  • The Rebuild Ukraine Toolkit for Canadian Businesses, a comprehensive guide developed by CUCC to help companies navigate opportunities, understand Ukraine’s reconstruction needs, and access practical resources for entering or expanding in the Ukrainian market.

  • CUCC-led trade missions, which connect Canadian companies with Ukrainian partners and government agencies engaged in critical rebuilding projects—supporting economic development, strengthening supply chains, and encouraging sustainable investment.

Strengthening Partnerships for Ukraine’s Future

The panel underscored the indispensable role of civil society, international partnerships, and diaspora leadership in driving accountability, resilience, and a forward-looking recovery. Delegates gained meaningful insights into both the challenges and the opportunities ahead as Ukraine continues its path toward reconstruction and modernization.

CUCC’s participation reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to mobilizing the Canadian business community, supporting Ukraine’s economic revival, and fostering long-term cooperation between Canada and Ukraine.

As the upcoming Rebuild Ukraine Business Conference on December 2, 2025, approaches, CUCC looks forward to engaging partners, amplifying collaboration, and continuing to ensure that Canada plays a leading role in Ukraine’s recovery.
